Here’s a little Monday motivation for ya.
My husband and I both work full time, he works in the hospitality industry and I work in healthcare.
But aside from that, I’ve always wanted to launch a store that’s relatable to me with products that I can share with other South Asians who have a similar background to mine. I just love our culture - Bollywood, Holi, Garba, Uttarayan, Diwali, the colors, I can go on and on. So one day I woke up and decided I was going to do just that, I started working on a website and designing apparel. With help from my guy (who btw I am so grateful for bc he’s been a huge support system to me😭), we did it!
It’s been a very long and time consuming process but the feedback I’ve received in such a short amount of time has made it SO worth it.
Everyday I wake up thinking what can I do next or how can I improve the business and it’s really given me a purpose. I wouldn’t change it for the world and I’m so grateful to have an opportunity like this.
Keep pushing, make your dreams a reality. You are your worst enemy :).
